Tyrepower ambassador and V8 racing legend, Craig Lowndes, is set for a massive 2016 V8 Supercars Championship Series, unveiling his new TeamVortex livery ahead of the first round of the calendar, the Clipsal 500 Adelaide scheduled for March 3-6.
Tyrepower will be supporting the V8 Supercars Championship again in 2016, with Craig Lowndes on board as an ambassador for a second year.
The brand will also continue its sponsorship of one of Australia’s biggest motor races, the Bathurst 1000, with prominent signage displayed across the infamous Tyrepower Cutting – a section of the Bathurst 1000 track that has proved extremely difficult for drivers to manoeuvre, and has been the scene of many close calls and dramatic smashes throughout the years.
In addition, Tyrepower is again delighted to be the proud sponsor of the Tyrepower Tasmania Supersprint, which is scheduled for 1-3 April, 2016.
Craig joined TeamVortex late in 2015, when the team was created by Caltex Australia and Triple Eight Race Engineering, to drive the number 888 Holden Commodore VF alongside the Red Bull Racing team cars throughout the 2016 Championship.
Tyrepower will follow Craig through the Championship, bringing updates to its customers on all of the on-track action, Craig’s results, and updates from Craig via a regular blog that can be found on the Tyrepower website. Tyrepower customers and Craig Lowndes fans should also keep an eye on the Tyrepower Facebook page for any opportunities to meet and greet with Craig at Tyrepower events throughout 2016.
